The President of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, has commenced the process of nominating his government appointees.
In a recent announcement, the President has revealed his first batch of three nominations for key positions in the government.

Given the recent economic challenges facing the nation, the Finance Ministry is particularly under scrutiny.
Among these nominations, President Mahama has selected Cassiel Ato Forson as the Finance Minister Designate, a choice that has surprised many, as former Finance Minister Seth Terkper was a popular expectation for the role.

Additionally, Honourable John Abu Jinapor has been nominated as the Minister of Energy Designate.
Focusing on the justice sector, the President has nominated Hon. Dominic Akurtinga Ayini to serve as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice.
