Pope Francis’ passing has brought some interesting revelations to light about how the burrial of a Pope is done.
It has been rumored that the late Pope Francis will be buried with a bag of Gold, silver and copper .

The report has it that according to tradition, when burying a Pope, three bags of coins are placed in the innermost coffin.
One if the bag for gold, one for silver, and one for copper with each bag containing a coin for each year the Pope was in office.
This practice signifies the Pope’s earthly
“salary” and is a symbolic representation of his service.

It has also been rumored that Pope Francis himself turned down the tradition and asked that he shouldn’t be buried with any Gold.
It is now not known whether the tradition of burring him with bags of coins will be followed or his wish not to be buried with the three coins bags.
