The president of the South Africa Football Association (SAFA) Danny Jordaan has been arrested by Authorities.
Danny, a prominent figure in South Africa’s football shas been accused of mismanaging some huge amount of funds belonging to the association.
The country’s organised crime investigation unit, Hawks, has been looking into claims of fraud and theft at Safa between 2014 and 2018 amounting to 1.3m rand ($72,000, £57,000).

Safa’s chief financial officer Gronie Hluyo and businessman Trevor Neethling, who both made appearances in court alongside Jordaan, were released on bail.
